Casual, comfortable wash-and-wear clothing is most practical. It is recommended that you keep luggage manageable (12–15kg, preferably packed in a soft bag, plus a reasonable amount of camera equipment). Useful items are good walking shoes, and casual lightweight cotton, khaki or neutral colored clothes. Bring both short and long sleeved shirts and trousers to avoid mosquito bites and a warm fleece or jacket.
